Recorded with guitarist Gabriel Cento in Milan while SOLRIAH was living in Buenos Aires. The first time she hired a musician to bring her vision to life, and the song that woke up Garden of Mine after years of doubt. It was meant to be a stand-alone single. It became the breath of life for the whole record.

After SOLRIAH played the very first version of Explosions for her uncle David Holladay, he came up with the idea to add the line "will shape generations." The beloved Gonzalo Basavilbaso, musician and sound healing practitioner in Pisac, Peru, played the African ngoni on the track. Violin by Sam Christensen, SOLRIAH’s husband and life partner. Fully written and recorded in Chiang Mai, keeping the original vocal takes. Every synth was played on a laptop keyboard. Edited, mixed, and mastered in Medellín, Colombia.

Half written in Ubud, the other half in Austin. Written and produced with Kevin Butler in 2019, after a year of solo travels and deep soul searching. SOLRIAH met Kevin at 3am in a dark taxi on her way up to hike a volcano for sunrise in Bali, Indonesia… and just like that, lifelong friends were made. A huge thanks to Kevin for all of the time and love he put into this song.

The album vocal is the fourth take from the original writing session. Co-produced with Kevin Butler.

Written in a small writer’s cabin deep in the remote forest of Mendocino County. Finished in a single studio day, the very last day of work on Garden of Mine before SOLRIAH left Colombia. It was recorded and mixed in full that afternoon and squeezed onto the album at the last minute, once it became clear it was the missing piece of the track list.
